Head Start is a federal program that promotes the school readiness of children ages birth to five from low-income families by enhancing their cognitive, social and emotional development. Gymsters visits several of their locations to provide a learning environment that supports children’s growth in the physical, social, cognition and health domains. We bring one hour lessons to the classrooms introducing the children to the fundamentals of movement, basic gymnastic skills, group team based games, sign language and kids yoga cool-down.
